I didn’t expect you when God placed you in my life. I had my people, my friends with me and I was not exactly open to the idea of new meaningful friendship. It didn’t seem like I really needed anybody new.

Now I know that I wasn’t right. Thank God! that was not true. Sometimes we meet people and we just don’t know that we are going to be good friends with. Sometimes we meet people and we realize that there is no such thing as coincidence. I think God has its own way of making it seem as if things that happen to us are by coincidence.

I didn’t expect you when God placed you in my life

If the biggest moments of our lives are left up to coincidence, then I think and believe that it would make God seem that as if he doesn’t care. It would make him seem as if he was truly abandoning me. But you, are a true statement to the fact that God doesn’t just leave such important aspects up to coincidence.

You are more than meets the eye. You are one of a kind, a shoulder to lean on. You are a safe place, but your heart melts for the people you love and it’s obvious. You are worth being with. You are worth getting to know. I really thank God that for reason that you continue to choose to be in my life. Thank you for dragging me up every time. I didn’t expect you when God placed you in my life.
